Intended to go to another restaurant that was closed. Quick search for close places yielded Soul Bite. Happiest accident in awhile. Everything was great. Catfish was very good. They asked if I wanted it crispy or not which was a huge plus. Fries were great as well. Cashier was super nice. I'll be back for sure.
Ok Im from Louisiana and cajun. Thought I'd give this one a try. Ordered the catfish basket with 🍟. Catfish cajun crispy with cajun fries. When we think of cajun food we have spices you can taste in the food. Catfish was not cajun to me I didn't taste any spices in the batter mix. Cajun fries tasted like Popeyes fries. But like I said its just the cajun in me.
This place is amazing. They have never missed on quality and service. The cashier is always friendly and carries a great conversation. I also met the owner who was just as kind. The food is always fresh and made to order so it's piping hot. Everything is well seasoned. By far one of my favorite go to spots. Shrimp burger and Cajun fries delicious is an understatement!!!
My family and I stopped by this restaurant while driving around looking for a place to eat, and it immediately caught our eye. As soon as we walked in, the first thing I noticed was how clean everything was. The man who greeted us, who we later learned was the owner, was incredibly warm and welcoming. We ordered the catfish basket and the burger, and everything was made fresh to order and absolutely delicious. Throughout our meal, the staff checked on us to make sure we were enjoying our food and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!
The service was great! I didn’t catch the name of the guy who helped us, but he was very friendly and attentive. The owner even came by and spoke. The boil was okay — it came with 1/2 lb of shrimp, a pound of sausage, three potatoes, and one corn. Not bad for $19.99 I added an extra corn on the side 0. 89 My daughter ordered wings only (not the combo the combo $10.99), and I liked that they even asked how we wanted the wings cooked. They were seasoned very well and definitely a highlight of the meal. They offer daiquiris, beer, sodas, and water, which is a nice variety of drink options. The vibe was really nice, and the music was on point. Overall, it was a good experience with great service and a fun atmosphere.
I'm so grateful to be able to Dine in this neighborhood, as its near my Church ( MACC). My brother and I were looking for a good place that served Catfish & Shrimp on a Monday. I googled and this place and their high rating appeared and I so agree! My 6pc Shrimp was DELICIOUS!!!! My brother said the same of his Catfish Basket. Ill certainly return!!!!
This seafood restaurant shines as one of the best for fresh seafood in the area. I enjoyed the seafood platter, which was a delightful blend of freshness and subtle seasoning. It was a good experience! The restaurant maintains a clean atmosphere. My only suggestion is to improve the AC; a comfortable environment is essential for enjoying a meal. Despite this small hiccup, it was a wonderful visit, and I eagerly look forward to returning!
I saw this place open recently but hadn't had time to check it out until today. I came in on a Saturday afternoon and decided to try two sides and a combo. I went with the shrimp poboy combo, dirty rice, and mac and cheese . Aesthetically speaking, the poboy combo looked great, with the shrimp being pretty good size and the fries portion being generous. In terms of seasoning, there was an excellent Cajun flavor in the shrimp batter and sprinkled on the fries. It's the flavor I expected based on the name of the restaurant. The shrimp and fries had a delicate crunch and everything was nice and hot. The remoulade added a great zing to the sandwich as well and the bread was lightly toasted from the outside. While I admittedly wasn't a big fan of the macaroni (it was a tad overcooked for my liking), the dirty rice was surprisingly delicious. I picked up good garlic and soy sauce flavor within it (though I'm admittedly not entirely confident if that was what I was tasting), but for $1.85 at the time I went there, I think it's definitely a side you should consider getting if it's still there. Overall my entire meal came out to $14.82, a surprising bargain for what I got. I did notice I came in at a time they were having specials but even at the full price that the menu stands at right now, I think the prices are more than fair for the quality I got. There's plenty of seating indoors, it's chill and clean, and the staff I got to interact with were friendly if a bit shy. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're looking for something with a cajun kick. I hope these guys stick around in the neighborhood.
